“When you light a candle, you also cast a shadow.”
―
A shadow is the absence of light, these photos of my shadow have been inverted to symbolise the opposite – the presence of light.
The light from a Lighthouse crosses the darkness, and brings light into a dark world; thus symbolising the hope for lightness in a world emerging from the darkness of Covid 19.
Light defeats darkness and brings hope, as the original driving force that transforms unconscious contents and processes into conscious thoughts and feelings.
